"Alternatives" Magazine: "Eat the Recession!"
The Fall issue of Alternatives: Canadian Environmental Ideas + Action suggests that local agriculture can help get Canada out of its recession. It describes what it calls a "virtuous circle of food and wealth" in which cash incentives for local food and green roofs with a "local food plus model" that would include value-added businesses would lead to employment and a 4-day work week.
